On the eve of National Day, BEST successfully completed the localised deployment of its AI Agent, formally naming it PETROBEST and launching it into operation. This marks a pivotal step forward for the company, transitioning from ‘information-driven support’ to ‘intelligence-led advancement’.

To perpetuate the great spirit of the War of Resistance and further enhance all employees' sense of national pride and patriotic sentiment, on the morning of 3rd September, the company organised all staff to watch the live broadcast of the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Together, they witnessed this solemn occasion and drew inspiration for their endeavours.

On the afternoon of 21 July, the Wuqing District Committee of Tianjin Municipality organised the presentation of the 2024 Government Special Allowance certificates. Comrade Huang Jianmin, Chairman and President of the company, was honoured with the State Council Special Allowance in the field of engineering technology, adding distinction to the company.

From 15 to 20 July 2025, the company's Administration and Human Resources Centre collaborated with external agencies to meticulously organise a five-and-a-half-day induction training programme for newly recruited graduates at the Linqigu Resort in Yongqing, Langfang. A total of 42 graduates from the 2025 and 2024 cohorts participated, comprising 29 fresh graduates from 2025 and 13 outstanding graduates recruited since 2024, including 11 postgraduate degree holders.

To enhance communication and collaboration among middle and senior management, the company organised a team-building trip to Tianjin Binhai for its middle and senior executives. This initiative coincided with their collective participation in the celebration marking the relocation of Dongfang Huazhi's headquarters to Binhai New Area.

Recently, the monograph Key Valve Design, Selection and Application Technology for Natural Gas Pressure Regulating Stations, co-authored by the company and technical personnel from the East-West Natural Gas Pipeline, was published by China Machine Press. This work systematically summarises practical experience in valve research, development and engineering applications from CNPC's major scientific research project ‘Domestication of Key Oil and Gas Pipeline Equipment – Key Valves for Natural Gas Pressure Regulating Stations’. The publication systematically elaborates on core technical aspects including valve structural design, material selection, design calculations, and testing procedures, while providing a structured methodology for valve selection and application. This work holds significant reference value for design institutes, operating companies, manufacturing units, and higher education institutions.

June 2025 marks the 24th National Work Safety Month, with this year's theme being ‘Safety for All, Preparedness for Every Individual – Identifying Hidden Hazards Around Us’. To further enhance personnel safety training, foster comprehensive safety awareness, and promote the core principle of ‘Life First, Safety Foremost’, BEST launched a month-long ‘Work Safety Month’ initiative across the company. The programme comprises five key components: a kick-off meeting, heatstroke prevention and cooling emergency drills, a Work Safety Month prize quiz, AED training and practical exercises, and a comprehensive safety hazard inspection. On 4 June, BEST convened the kick-off meeting for the ‘Work Safety Month’ campaign. Attendees included the company's Safety Director, representatives from the HSE Department, Production Technology Department, Quality Inspection Department, and warehouse staff, alongside other frontline personnel involved in production operations.

On 10 February 2025, just before the Lantern Festival of the Spring Festival, a five-member delegation from the Engineering Materials Department and Production Operations Department of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Gas Pipeline Network Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the National Pipeline Network Group, travelled a considerable distance from Hangzhou to present a commemorative banner. Embroidered upon it were the words: ‘Craftsmanship and innovation ensure supply; Dedicated research and service support projects— Presented to BEST Energy Equipment (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.’

Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice (MIIT Circular [2025] No. 33) announcing the 2024 Green Manufacturing List. BEST Energy Equipment (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. has been successfully designated as a ‘2024 National Green Factory’.

On the journey of corporate development, safety is the foundation of the enterprise, and quality is its lifeblood. On 17 January, BEST convened its 13th Safety and Quality Conference. This meeting reviewed and disseminated the 2024 safety and quality work summary, analysed existing issues and the prevailing situation, while simultaneously arranging and deploying key safety and quality tasks for 2025. The conference was conducted simultaneously online and offline, with over 500 executives and employees from BEST, BTER, and Dongfang Huazhi in attendance.

On 7 January, the National Energy Administration announced the fourth batch of major first-of-a-kind technical equipment in the energy sector under its 2025 No. 1 Notice. The high-pressure bidirectional axial flow control valve independently developed by BTER, a subsidiary of BEST, was successfully included in the list.
